SOCODEI provides the following services using steel melted down at CENTRACO :
- Recycling and manufacturing of tubes by centrifugation
- Cleaning and surface preparation of obtained parts (cooling, cutting and shot blasting)
- Assembly and production of finished products
- Preparation of products for shipment
Integral radiological shielding (PRI) :
- Height and outside diameter: 100 cm
- Thickness: 70 mm
- Bottom and cover: non-radioactive steel
- Integral stirring part
These radiological shielding elements are then incorporated into concrete shells to form a shielded container.
They are used to encapsulate other waste with Mercure Mobil Unit.
