Collection methods tailored to customer needs.
SOCODEI provides waste producers with a full range of collection means. These containers can, on one hand, be used to transport waste to Centraco nuclear waste processing centre and, on the other hand, to transport final waste forms to the surface storage sites managed by ANDRA.
SOCODEI therefore provides a comprehensive service package that includes on site waste collection, processing at Centraco by melting or incineration, and return of ultimate wastes to the producer or to a certified storage site.
Container types
Means of packaging:
- 1, 2, 4 m3 et 8 m3 metal containers
- 60 l or 200 l HDPE (high-density polyethylene) drums
- 60 l, 120 l or 200 l metal drums
Means of transportation:
- 20-feet type A open-top containers
- 20-feet IP2 open-top or fixed-top containers
- IP2 tank to transport liquid products
The SOCODEI commitment
All containers supplied by SOCODEI are CSC-approved (International Convention for Safe Containers) and meet all applicable ADR regulations for the carriage of dangerous matters by road.
They are accepted for waste delivery to CENTRACO.
