Inactivated packages consisting of ashes and clinker immobilised in a hydraulic binder inside a 400-litres metallic drum with 30 mm walls:
- Waste loading coefficient: 60 wt%
- Weight: 1500 kg,

The incinerated, conditioned waste volume is reduced by a factor of between 10 and 20.
Throughput capacity :
- 12 ton per day on average
- Up to 1000 kilograms per hour
Acceptance criteria :
Combustible liquid and solid waste accepted in Centraco incineration facility comprises low-level waste meeting the following criteria:
Maximum activity:
- Total beta/gamma emitters less than or equal to 20 000 Bq/g
- Total alpha emitters less than or equal to 370 Bq/g
- Limitation of halogens, sulphur, heavy metals waste content
Encapsulation in:
- 90 to 200-litre metal or incinerable drums
- Miscellaneous tanks
- All other types of packaging subject to approval.
Transport: compliance with ADR and ISO standards.
All waste delivered to Centraco must first be accepted by SOCODEI on the basis of a declaration for which the waste producer assumes full responsibility.
Foreign waste is also subject to administrative formalities prior to acceptance.
